Terms and Conditions... and general human etiquette!

We're all human and things happen! I am quite a lenient individual, but I also have a business to run :-)

So... please do read the following if you wish to train with me.

Class passes: 4 Class Pass is valid for 6 weeks only (my in-studio Bishopbriggs class operated 3 weeks on, one week off) and the 8 is valid for 12 weeks for the same reason. You are responsible for booking your own classes within the stated time-frame and no extensions will be given unless in special circumstances. I have to treat everyone with the same fairness, which I'm sure you ttoally understand.

Class cancellations: If you cancel your mat space on the day of the class, payment must be made in full. A lot of studios enforce this in a 24 hour manner but I'm only asking for on the day cancellations. No refunds will be processed in this occurrence as most cancellations happen last minute which means 1. I don't have time to fill them and 2. it is space someone else could have had. A lot of my classes are filled to capacity, some with wait lists, and every space counts. Let's make the most of it!

Classes are subject to cancellation if minimum numbers are not met and payments can be refunded or retained for booking at a later date. Classes can be cancelled up until an hour beforehand but this has happened WAYYY less since I enforced the on the day cancellation policy above. :-)

1-2-1 sessions: I am based in Glasgow's Southside, so I only travel so far. Clients are also welcome to come to me in Toryglen / Kings Park. A minimum 24 hour cancellation policy applies to ALL scheduled sessions. Sessions that are cancelled less than 24 hours in advance will be charged in full to the client or deducted from their pre-paid block. There are no refunds for block purchases - they are a commitment to both yourself and to me - unless a note from a medical professional is supplied as the reason you are unable to partake in any further exercise for the foreseeable.

Please note that any sessions purchased need to be used within 6 months and these are non-refundable.

The cancellation policy is 1. there to protect my income a a self-employed individual and 2. to encourage you to keep to your training schedule. After all, consistency is key to seeing results.

In this line of work we, as small business owners, have to deal with a lot of last minute cancellations seemingly without any solid or legitimate reason, using a variety of excuses (I've heard it all down to "it's raining and I don't want to get wet!") At the end of the day - can anyone be expected to work without payment? No. :-)

Fitting in week to week clients is like a very challenging game of Tetris! So please remember I cater for MANY clients and classes and my time is divided up specifically to accommodate those who have approached and asked this of me.

My cancellation policy is an incentive, not a punishment, promise! :-)

Furthermore, you hired me as your personal trainer so that I can help you attain your fitness goals and I'd love to see you achieve them. Missing sessions without a legitimate reason isn’t just going to waste time, it will also be a great disservice to YOU as my client.

So I wholeheartedly appreciate your understanding that a good cancellation policy benefits us both.

When you comet o me for a 1-2-1 or class, I very well may ask you to read and sign the following. Nonetheless, this is part of my T&Cs for every class/session you attend of mines and partaking in these means you have agreed to the below beforehand and are happy with the following.

Your health is your responsibility. I am dedicated to helping you take every opportunity to enjoy this fitness programme / yoga class. With this in mind, I have carefully considered what we can reasonably expect of each other.
